Cogges – Mud Lane

The footpath from the Cogges corner is known as “Mud Lane” – and during a wet winter and large amount of mud piles up at the side of the path.

First, we had to find the edge of the path…

…and then remove the built-up vegetation. The edge of the path is now visible.

Cutting channels to allow rainwater to drain into the ditch…

…removing ivy and brambles…

The group at the end of the work
…and not forgetting our local council worker who removed all the rubbish – including a traffic cone!
